Welcom in God his house, this is the intriguing and beautiful chapel from the Castle of Mesen. The chapel is relative new to the abandoned castle, it has been build in 1905. The mystical light conditions are creating an almost religious atmosphere. Pigeons flatter into the early misty sunbeams. There are no decorations, no rows of chairs and no organ to find, this chapel is empty. The wooden construction of the ceiling is all that is left behind from the roof. Rain and wind have done a lot of demolition. The little tower on top of the roof is so fragile that it could collapse any moment now.

All though the decay in the chapel is on a advanced level, the coloured stained glass windows are not smashed at all. This stained glass must be worth a fortune. It's serenity makes that are you starting to hear the harmonic singing of the local people and the sundays praying of the priest. How many have ask for forgiveness and what was their story.

God bless you. Amen!
