On a large cemetery where a lot of victims of the I and II world war have been buried, there are three underground crypt where a lot of sepulchres are left behind in poor conditions, decayed and abandoned. The tunnels are following the paths between the sepulchres on the surface. The inscriptions on the gravestones dates back from the latest years of the 18 century, to the late seventies in the last century. It is slightly strange to walk the paths through the crypt and experiencing the intriguing athmosphere. By the small dirtied openings in the ceiling are lightbeams shinning over the embraced gravestones.

Because of the high air humidity a lot of these gravestones are oxidised and is moss growing sumptuously between small openings and on the tiny edges. In the small chapel, garden tools and coffins lie negligently stored. Beside the large maintenance still due to the sepulchres and to the crypt itselves, their are sepulchres empty and nameless.
